Description
The lines and curves, the light and shadow of sand dunes have intrigued me for decades. There is something erotic about the elegantly curving dunes.
I followed the Hoanib River in northwestern Namibia towards the Skeleton Coast and came upon these gently rolling white dunes with coastal fog approaching from the west. Even after many years photographing dunes in most deserts around the globe this particular place and moment has been very special to me.
