My favorite time of the year is autumn when the leaf trees bath our forests in all nuances between yellow and red. On New Zealand’s South Island I found this small tree that displayed all colors at the same time: green, yellow, orange and red. I waited for the sun to hide behind clouds. Diffused light was needed to avoid reflections on the leaves that would have reduced the richness of the colors.
