Description
After several days of a fierce sandstorm the desert air cleared and I finally managed to take off with my powered paraglider early morning. The wind was still very strong and tested my nerves while I was cruising above a sea of yellow dunes in the Borkou District of Chad. Although the landscape was spectacular I was glad when I was safely back on the ground again.
