This young Bengal tigress has been frequently seen crossing shallow Rajbagh Lake in Rajasthan’s Ranthambhore National Park in India. I have to thank my driver for getting the vehicle in the right position at the right time, otherwise I would have missed this beautiful opportunity.
Since childhood the tiger has been my favorite animal. During my first zoo visit at the age of seven this powerful, at the same time graceful and absolutely beautiful cat has captured my fascination. It was not until the year 2000 when I finally was able to fulfill my dream to see my first tiger in the wild. Since then I have spent almost one year observing and photographing tigers in several Indian tiger reserves.
