Description
This nine months old Bengal tiger cub is resting in a cool cave during the blazing afternoon heat in Rajasthan’s Ranthambhore National Park in India. Since childhood the tiger has been my favorite animal. During my first zoo visit at the age of seven this powerful, at the same time graceful and absolutely beautiful cat has captured my fascination. It was not until the year 2000 when I was finally able fulfilling my dream to see my first tiger in the wild. Since then I have spent almost one year observing and photographing tigers in several Indian tiger reserves.
