Description
At the southern edge of the Sahara in Chad large fields of millet stretch along the shores of Lake Fitri. When I visited this area in March 2019 millet fields were ready to be harvested. I met this young woman while she was separating the grain from its shell. Millet is one of the staple diets in the northern part of Africa.
The Sahel Harvest black and white fine art print has a limited edition of only 100. Most other fine art photographers have a much higher limited edition number. The lower the number the higher is the value of the print.
