I photographed Dune Art in 2019 from top of one of the highest sand dunes in the center of the Namib Desert.
The dunes around Sossusvlei in the Namib Desert have attracted me since my first visit in 1995. Meanwhile I have visited the area on many occasions, never getting tired of the play of light and shadow when the sun is low at the horizon. Dune photography is also a great weight loss exercise. Carrying a heavy camera bag and tripod up the dunes on the lee side is quite a struggle.
The Dune Art black and white fine art print has a limited edition of only 100. Most other fine art photographers have a much higher limited edition number. The lower the number the higher is the value of the print.
