Description
I was lying on the ground when I was photographing this tall grass against the partly cloudy sky. Shooting with a wide-angle lens the grass seemed to be touching the sky. I thought the title would be perfect for this Grass Fine Art Print.
Toetoe grass is the largest native grass in New Zealand and is found throughout the country in swampy areas and coastlines. While exploring the northern tip of the North Island I stumbled upon a small patch of this elegant plant. I went low and photographed the grass so it looks like it is trying to reach the sky. We are too often searching for the “big” picture while overlooking the small treasures in nature right in front of us.
The black and white Grass Fine Art Print Touching The Sky has a limited edition of only 100. Most other fine art photographers have a much higher limited edition number.
